Oral Lichen Planus : Diagnosis and Treatment

A 52 years old male patient complained of burning sensation in the mouth. He was diagnosed with oral lichen planus on the right buccal mucosa and on the left retro molar area. He was under treatment for the same, with 0.1%of TESS buccal paste(Triamcinalone Acetonide) for 3-4 times daily for about 2 weeks.
Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction : Diagnosis and Treatment

A 22 years old male patient complained of pain on opening the mouth. He was diagnosed with temporo mandibular joint dysfunction syndrome and was given ultrasound treatment for the same.
Oral Submucous Fibrosis: Diagnosis and Treatment

A male patient of age 58 years, complained of stiffness in the cheek region, burning sensation accompanied with inability to open the mouth. He was diagnosed with oral submucous fibrosis (group III) and was treated with intra-lesional injections of dexamethasone and hyaluronidase. He was recalled after a week for follow up. Significant improvement in mouth opening was elicited.

A male patient aged 61years complained of multiple ulcers on hand and in mouth associated with severe pain. He was diagnosed with Erythema Multiforme and was advised TESS buccal paste with Candid mouthpaint for the ulcers. Good healing was observed
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

A 60years old male patient complained of burning sensation in the mouth. On further investigations, he was diagnosed with Radiation induced Mucositis and was given Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for 5days resulted in good healing.
