General Hospital:
The college is attached to Gandhi Medical College & Hospital for all Medical and allied subjects for teaching and training purpose. Gandhi Medical College & Hospital is purely government, having 1500 beds and daily OPD around 1600 patients. The college is located in the heart of the city. Clinical students of BDS courses and Post graduate utilize the facilities of this hospital.

Attendance requirement is as follows:
Each candidate should put up 75% of attendance in theory classes and 75% in Practical / Clinical, in each subject for each academic year. The candidate who satisfies all the requirements of attendance, progress, and conduct as stipulated by the university is eligible to appear for the University examination.
Internal Assessment:
Minimum two internals out of three internals should be attended (both in theory and practical / clinical), for the academic year and the average of the three internals will be sent to the university. The internal assessment is not only limited to the written tests. It may also relate to other aspects such as maintenance of records, participation in seminars and group discussions, clinical case studies, proficiency in carrying out practical or clinical skills. These things will be evaluated objectively and recorded accordingly.

Each question paper is of 3 hours duration, carrying maximum marks of 70. There will be three types of questions and the distribution of marks for these questions is given below.
Theory:
University Exam (Theory) : 70
College internal exam (theory) : 10
Grand viva (at the time of practical exam) : 20
Practical:
University exam : 90
College Internals : 10
Results:
A candidate should have secured 50% of marks in theory & practical respectively to award a result.
